Services provided by Shannon Krenek, LCSW and Nature Nurture, PLLC are rooted in these core values:

  • We promote respect, support, humor, and grace and know these are vitally important in interactions with ourselves and others.
  • We believe everyone and everything is connected and that healthy connections (to self, others, community, nature…) are vital for the well-being of all.
  • We believe everyone deserves non-judgmental and compassionate spaces to become and be fully themselves – all community members are welcome here.
  • We value inner wisdom and believe that everyone has the innate power to heal and grow.
  • We believe young people are human beings deserving of understanding and care and that their thoughts, feelings, safety, and needs matter.
  • We believe rural communities deserve equal access to quality health and healing services.
“Meanwhile the world goes on. Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain are moving across the landscapes, over the prairies and the deep trees, the mountains and the rivers. Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air, are heading home again. Whoever you are, no matter how lonely, the world offers itself to your imagination, calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting – over and over announcing your place in the family of things.”
